About
Kingdom Keys Church exists to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in proclaiming the truth of the Word of God. Kingdom Keys provides a place for believers to renew their mind and develop a Biblical worldview. Our mission is to bring keys for kingdom living.
We desire to equip, educate, and edify through our teaching, preaching, & music. We have a heart for those who do not know the Lord, to be saved, and for sick people to be healed.
Pastors Ricky & Diana Pfeil
Ricky Pfeil recognizes that all people must be born again to enter the kingdom of God, but he doesn't remember any point in his childhood when he wasn't saved or didn't have a tender heart for the Lord. He remembers praying at his church with other members in his Pampa home church, already knowing he had a relationship with the Lord.
Diana Pfeil was raised 60 miles up the road in Amarillo in a strong Christian family where daily Bible readings and a family altar were continual convictions in her home.
Both Ricky and Diana grew-up prioritizing the Lord and following His truth with passionate hearts. From ministering in local churches to being highly involved in a youth group that was consumed with revival hearts, the two were committed early in life to obeying God's call. Along with a love for the Word, Ricky was fascinated by radio and always had a longing even in elementary school to work for a radio station. With continual seeds of ministry planted at a young age, both Ricky and Diana were destined for great things through a lifetime of harvest in the ministry. They were already serving a church as Assistant Pastor when they got married. Their involvement included both choir and youth ministry in the Hereford church they loved.
Then the two were guided by the Lord and began a traveling ministry that became primarily a children's ministry. Ricky and Diana traveled throughout Texas and Oklahoma, and into Louisiana and Colorado hosting 63 children's crusades.
With the heart of a pastor and a desire to do more than children's crusades and revivals, the tender couple sought the Lord for a more fulfilling ministry which brought forth a pastoral position at Christian Center in Wheeler.
During the transition to pastor, the Lord spoke to Ricky's heart saying, “Radio will be a big part of it (the ministry in Wheeler).”
In 1986, the first station of the Kingdom Keys Network, KPDR 90.5 FM, was established in Wheeler to proclaim the gospel across the area. This was yet another facet of God's call upon Ricky and Diana's lives.
With a radio station and a church, including a Christian school for K-12th grades, in a small, Texas town, the Pfeil family continued to trust in the Lord, and saw years of blessings with a church family committed to the Word of God and consumed with a vision to follow God's leading. Despite opposition from those outside the church, Ricky and Diana and the church family continued strong with the conviction found in Acts: Acts 20:24, "But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
The Pfeil's continued to fill the office of pastor of Christian Center for 19 years.
In 1994, a second radio station, KJRT 88.3 FM was established in Amarillo. In 1995, the station became the flagship station of the Kingdom Keys Network when the Pfeil's moved there. Since then, the radio ministry has continued to grow. The network is comprised of three stations (the third is KASV 88.7 FM in Borger) and 10 translators.
The pastoral call of God opened doors for Ricky and Diana. On April 15th 2007 the Pfeil's announced the beginning of Kingdom Keys Church in Amarillo.
With people being saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, and baptized in water, Pastor Ricky and Diana continue preaching the Word of God and fulfilling each aspect and gifting of God's call upon their ministry. They will not hesitate to press toward the mark of the high calling of God with excitement and anticipation of the great things He is doing in this community, state, region, and nation.
